Hi! I'm Nichole Burrows and I am the proud owner of FIT4MOM Colorado Springs. I joined this group of fabulous moms four years ago as a client. In my former life, I was a Special Education Teacher for 13 years. I was feeling burnt out and sad about not spending time with my then 2-year-old son Stephen. We had just moved to Colorado Springs from Savannah, GA when I decided to become a stay-at-home mom and leave the profession of teaching. Being an Army spouse, I was used to the moves, changes, and making new friends. However, this time it was different…scarier! I didn’t have my job to help me meet people and make connections. I was confident that I made the right decision to stay at home with my little man, but I was longing for a sense of community. Then I heard about this amazing fitness group for moms, and I had to give it a try. I couldn’t believe that I found a program where I could get a GREAT workout and bring my son along with me. I am so thankful to have found this group of strong and supportive mamas. I learned quickly that this group was SO much more than a workout group. In addition to amazingly energizing workouts in an encouraging and supportive environment... there were playgroups, Mom's Night Outs, and family gatherings. FIT4MOM quickly became my tribe, my village, and MY FAMILY.

A few short months later, in the spring of 2014, I became a Stroller Strides instructor. I was given the opportunity to pursue my love for fitness while making connections with other moms, and spending time with my son…WIN!! I have always had an active lifestyle, but now it is my job! Thanks to FIT4MOM, I feel that I am physically stronger, faster, and more confident than I was in my younger college soccer days. Not only did I become a certified fitness instructor, but I ran my first ½ marathon and became the FIT4MOM COS Running Club coach. I was able to stay fit throughout my second pregnancy, still instructing and coaching Run Club until a few days before delivery. Then in August 2016, almost exactly 1 year after having my second son Ashton, I completed a bucket list ½ marathon called the Pikes Peak Ascent. This was one of the greatest physical, emotional and mental challenges I have faced so far, and I couldn't have done it without the support and love I received from this village!

My favorite quote is" “If your dreams don’t scare you, they are not big enough.” Nothing makes me happier than helping other moms find their strength, reach their potential, crush their goals and follow their dreams! Take your first class and find your strength in motherhood!
